Killington has expanded its breadth of activities so that now you can go there for skiing in winter, organized backpacking and camping trips in the summer, tennis practice and lessons, and a golf course. The resort is booming, but it is laid out so well on the side of the mountain that there is plenty of room for all the activities and the visitors. Distances: Killington is 10 miles (16 km) N of Plymouth; 20 miles (32 km) W of Woodstock; and 12 miles (19 km) E of Rutland. |
