New Hampshire Transportation

New Hampshirites are committed to highway travel, so air links and rail lines are played down in favor of bus and car.

Amtrak, in fact, has no trains in New Hampshire proper, although Amtrak's Vermonter does run along the New Hampshire-Vermont border for a bit, stopping in Brattleboro, Bellows Falls, and White River Junction on the route between New York City and Montreal.

By Limousine and Bus
Airport limousines (vans) run regularly from Boston's Logan Airport to many points in New Hampshire.

Greyhound Lines connects Boston MA with New Hampshire's major cities of Nashua, Manchester and Concord with Vermont towns including White River Junction. There are buses to Keene NH as well.

Concord Coach Lines also runs buses connecting Boston with the New Hampshire cities of Manchester, Concord, and the towns around Lake Winnipesaukee and in the White Mountains around Mount Washington. More...
