Gay & Lesbian Provincetown MA

Like San Francisco CA and Key West FL, Provincetown hosts large gay and lesbian communities on vacation during the summer.

The great majority of establishments in Provincetown—hotels, inns, guesthouses, restaurants, cafes, bars, and nightclubs—welcome all customers regardless of sexual orientation, regardless of whether the proprietor is gay or straight.

But in a few places, you may feel out of place if your sexual orientation doesn't match that of the proprietor and the majority of customers.

My own preference is for mutual respect and civility, tolerance in matters of personal choice, and absence of prejudice or discrimination in political, social and commercial relations.
