C & J (formerly C & J Trailways) buses depart Boston MA and Portsmouth NH every hour on the hour from 3 am (03:00) until 11 pm (23:00) on weekdays. The whole journey takes just under two hours. In other words, the only hours that buses do not depart are 12 midnight (00:00), 1 am (01:00) and 2 am (02:00). Buses stop along the way at Newburyport MA, Dover NH and Durham NH. On weekends and holidays, C & J operates 14 buses on this route. Some departures call at Logan Airport, others call at Boston's South Station Transportation Center.
