elaborate stage set for "Wicked" at the
Gershwin Theater in Manhattan illustrates
Broadway
musical plays these days: elaborate, highly
creative, extraordinarily expensive, and
in some cases phenomenally successful.
We ordered our tickets to "Wicked" in
October for a performance in February,
and even
then
the best seats were already sold out.
