based loosely on Gregory Maguire's novel
of the same name, is the story of Elphaba,
the Wicked Witch of the West in L Frank
Baum's "The Wizard of Oz." Elphaba
and Glinda,
the Good Witch of the North, are enemies,
then
friends, then enemies, then competing for
the heart of Fiyero, the handsome prince,
but...I don't want to spoil it
for you.
