Summer Raft in Winter |
|
|
A swimmer's raft is trapped by soft late spring ice on southern New Hampshire's Lake Blaisdell. New England is graced by hundreds of pure glacial lakes. Ice Age glaciers extended all the way to Long Island (the glacial moraine), and as they retreated, they scooped out these beautiful lakes and ponds for us to enjoy. |
