Hardly the Grand Canyon, Quechee (KWEE-chee) Gorge east of Woodstock VT is beautiful in a poetic way, an arrow-straight path cut through Vermont granite toward the distant mountains. You can admire it from the graceful bridge that spans it. A hiking trail leads from the bridge down to the bottom of the gorge. |
