Bar Harbor Inn |

Founded
decades ago, the Bar Harbor Inn claimed the
town's prime location at the tip of the point
of land. Renamed the Bar Harbor Motor Inn
when the auto replaced steamboats and railroads,
it's now the Bar Harbor Inn again. Additions
and annexes flank the original inn, and the
location remains the best in town, with fine
sea views from many rooms, and almost everything
within a short stroll.
