Thoreau's House at Walden Pond

This is a replica, of course, and it's near the Walden Pond State Reservation parking lot, not down by the pond's shore as the original was. Thoreau's original house was torn down by others, and the building materials recycled, but this is a faithful reconstruction that makes it easy to imagine what life was like for Henry David Thoreau during the "two years and two months" that he lived on Walden's shores. The center of Concord MA is about three miles' (45 minutes) walk.
