The British expeditionary force sent from Boston on April 19, 1775, made its headquarters for the day at the Wright Tavern in Concord MA. The tavern, now the property of the First Parish in Concord, is still there. It now holds church and other offices, and is closed to the public, but you can inspect it from the outside. |
