The company's cannons and caissons are hauled by horse teams through the town along the Patriots' Day parade route to the field between Old North Bridge and the Old Manse. The guns are charged, the charges rammed and tamped, the fuses lit, and whooom! Babies cry! Kids wince. Adults cheer! The company reloads and fires again.Boom!
