Walden Pond in Fall |

Many
of the trees surrounding Concord's Walden
Pond are evergreens. Their color—bright green
from new growth—comes in spring, not
autumn, so Walden in the fall looks a lot
like Walden in the summer. Far more spectacular
is Walden
in winter.
