Bear Creek Mountain Ski Club is a ski resort with a difference: it's a private club. You pay a fee to become a lifetime member, then an annual membership fee, and you enjoy private skiing at your own club. The level of personal service is high, as you'd expect in a private club: no waiting at the lifts, ski attendants to care for your equipment. Two lifts serve the club's 16 trails, about half of which are for novices, and half intermediate. The club is off of VT Route 100 on Rome Top Road (map). Bear
