The University of Vermont's annual summer Champlain Shakespeare Festival may be gone, but the University's Royall Tyler Theatre, on the Main Street side of the campus, stages plays during the academic year.

In summer, there's also the Vermont Shakespeare Theater. offering The Bard's works in variouys venues (including in or near Burlington) around the state in summertime.
