You can get Destination Salem's free Visitor's Guide online, or from the office (tel 877-725-3662) at 54 Turner Street, Salem MA 01970 (map). The National Park Service maintains the Visitor Center at 2 New Liberty Street, near the Museum Place Mall near the Peabody Essex Museum in the city center, about a 10-minute walk from the Salem Depot (train station). North of Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau (tel 978-977-7760), 17 Peabody Square, Peabody MA 01960, provides information on all the towns on the North Shore.
