The Nantucket Historical Association (map) operates the Nantucket Whaling Museum, the island's Oldest House and other historic structures, including the Old Mill, Old Gaol, Hose Cart House, Quaker Meetinghouse (1838), and Hadwen House (1845). Buy a special visitor's pass to all the buildings filled with the exhibits of the Nantucket Historical Association including the famous Whaling Museum, the Oldest House on the island, and the Old Mill built in 1746 and still functioning. Individual admissions to all buildings would cost much more, and the pass gives you the advantage of being able to browse in a museum for a while, go to the beach, and return to another museum later in the afternoon. You can get your pass at the Whaling Museum at 15 Broad Street, or at any of the other association buildings. Nantucket Historical Association
