Much of the vacation traffic to Cape Cod rushes past Sandwich on the way to Hyannis or Provincetown, leaving the town to those who appreciate its quiet grace, beauty, history and charm. Sandwich holds its appeal both winter and summer, for although it has beaches, its antique stores and gracious old houses also draw visitors.
