(The Flying Cloud has a well-earned reputation for unreliability and breakdowns, and will probably be replaced in a few years.) The alternative to the Flying Cloud are the passengers-only ferries run by the efficient Hy-Line Cruises company, which depart from Hyannis's Ocean Street docks, a 10-minute walk around the harbor from the Steamship Authority's Pleasant Street docks. |
