Concord has three commercial areas with restaurants, cafés, snack shops and other eateries (map):

Concord Center, Main and Walden streets

From Monument Square to the Concord Free Public Library, near First Parish in Concord (church), Old North Bridge, the Old Manse, Sleepy Hollow Cemetery (with Authors Ridge), these eateries are also within walking distance of the Alcott's Orchard House and The Wayside.

Concord Center, Thoreau Street

Between Sudbury Road and Main Street, near the Concord Depot (train station), there's a surprisingly good selection of places to breakfast, lunch or dine: Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, New London style Pizza, Concord Provisions, Farfalle Italian Market & Café, Country Kitchen, La Provence, Chang An Restaurant, 80 Thoreau, and Bedford Farms Ice Cream. West Concord

West Concord, 2.7 miles (4.4 km) west of Monument Square on the southwest side of MA Route 2, also has several quite recommendable restaurants and sandwich shops: Vincenzo's, Ninety-Nine Restaurant, Concord Teacakes, Nashoba Brook Bakery, Twin Seafood, Debra's Natural Gourmet, Club Car Café, White Hen Pantry, and Dunkin' Donuts. Most of your sightseeing will be in Concord Center near Monument Square, but if you arrive by train at the Concord Depot, you'll find the Thoreau Street restaurants convenient—and it's only a 10-minute walk between Thoreau Street and Monument Square.

West Concord is farther away, but has restaurants worth the trip. It also has its own train station (West Concord). Trains on the MBTA Commuter Rail's Fitchburg-South Acton line are not all that frequent, but if they fit your schedule, you can ride the train between Concord and West Concord.
