Trinity Church, Copley Square, Boston

Trinity Church in the City of Boston is the center of an Episcopal parish in the heart of the city.

The monumental church, completed in 1877, was designed by Henry Hobson Richardson, and helps to define the style known as "Richardsonian Romanesque."

You can visit the church for Sunday services.

For a non-religious visit, make your way to The Shop at Trinity and pay $5 for admission and the useful map and guide to the church.

Facing Trinity Church across Copley Square is the Boston Public Library, America's first municipal public library.

On the southeast side of the square is the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel, a grande dame of Boston hotels.

Looming above the square is the shiny glass parallelogram of the John Hancock Tower.
