Boston's Financial District

South of Government Center is Boston's Financial District centered on State Street, Milk Street, Devonshire Street, and the surrounding ways.

The skyscrapers tower above several old Boston landmarks as the Old State House and Old South Meetinghouse.

The landmark Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, a skyscraping "steel radiator" of a building, marks the southern extent of the Financial District. It's located right across the street from South Station Transportation Center, and only a few minutes' walk from Chinatown.

Across Fort Point Channel from the Financial District is the Boston Children's Museum, the BCEC (Boston Convention and Exhibition Center), the World Trade Center and the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art).
