Built as the great Statler Hotel in 1927 (later the Statler Hilton), the Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers is proud of its history (many US presidents have lodged here), but equally proud of its reincarnation as one of downtown Boston's best places to stay. Its gracious Old World features such as the spacious lobby with crystal chandeliers, a wall of bevelled mirrors, lots of gilt trim and red carpets—these have been totally renewed, and the 950 guest rooms have been utterly modernized and furnished with all the latest comforts. The Towers section, with its private elevator to the 15th floor, 24/7 receptionist, careful personal service, and comfy lounge with excellent breakfast, snacks, drinks and other amenities, gives you the sense of living in a boutique inn high above the center of the city. The Park Plaza's location couldn't be better: just off the southeast corner of the Public Garden, one short block from Boston Common, the theater district, and only a few blocks' pleasant stroll from the Freedom Trail, Newbury Street's boutiques, Boylston Street/Copley Square shopping and sights, the financial district and Chinatown. The nearest subway station is "Arlington." Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers Check hotel rates and room availability through Venere.
